Hi, I'm currently running a gift code giveaway on my 'Zethrax' Youtube channel for the GOG.com game, Beyond Good and Evil (PC).

To get the gift code for the game, just watch the videos in my Minecraft: Nomad series on Youtube. The playlist for that series is below.

The gift code link will be split up into seven parts and each part will appear somewhere in one of the next seven videos in my Minecraft: Nomad video series. Beyond Good & Evil was a surprisingly good game. Minecraft isnt really my thing though and i already own it BGE. Good luck and /Respect to fellow Aussie for having giveaway.

Congratulations to blccat for winning the game. Sorry it's not available for Win 7. I should have researched that aspect a bit better. Hopefully GOG.com will make it compatible in future. I was just planning on buying it myself since it's on sale over the weekend, but the compatibility issue means I'll probably give it a miss for now.

Not sure when I'll be doing more of these giveaways. I've decided to stop doing Let's Plays on the Youtube channel I was running this giveaway on as there are too many people far better than me doing Let's Plays on Youtube and it's seeming more and more like a waste of time. I might do some contests for other projects in future though.

As with most of GOG.com games, it's rarely the OS, most often than not it's either UAC (or PEBKAC) that's causing the trouble, or incompatible hardware.

There's no need to be sorry. I have Windows Vista and the game works like a charm ( all i had to do was disable HW Vertex Processing due to graphic glitches). Once again many thanks.

It is compatible. The only issue I had was I had to disable some filter or something, I forget what, otherwise I was getting graphical glitches. It still has the hardcoded letterboxing, however, so I eventually got the HD remix on PS3. Great game, though.

I ended up buying the game in the recent weekend sale. Looking forward to giving it a playthrough.
