We all know good and well that GOG.com has the Icewind Dale games and Baldur's Gate II, and who knows what else all ready to go.
I have played Baldur's Gate and Planescape Torment to death, but I never played through Baldur's Gate 2. That is the game that I want, and if GOG has the rights to sell it, then they should just sell it instead of waiting to release a couple of new games every week or two.

Just a thought.
It's much better to spread your releases out. Not only does that make it easier on people who want to buy quite a few games, but it also means people have a reason to check the site every week.
I'd buy all those games regardless of release date.
I have them all except Torment, which makes the next couple months pretty barren for me on GOG, in all likelihood.
im very excited to grab what ever they toss out... astleast we know there not going anyplace soon...im freaking GEEKED for Xmas!
While I wouldn't mind knowing for certain exactly what they've got up their sleeves, and I'd love to have access to it now, I also enjoy getting up on Tuesdays and checking GOG to see if there's a cool game I'd like to purchase. Considering what they likely have on the slate for the next number of Tuesdays, I'm content to wait, knowing I'll be guaranteed several weeks of awesome releases.

I'm the same way. I don't understand people who just want everything dumped at their feet in a pile NOWNOWNOW.
Patience you must learn, young padawan. All will it come to you when right is the time. ;)

I guess it depends on who you ask. If these were new releases, then I would understand completely. But these are all games that can usually be found elsewhere.
For example, Gog.com just lost one sale from me. I just found Icewind Dale 1 and 2 on ebay for 18.00. Icewind dale 1 is the large original box with the spiral manual. If they would have had it on the site last week, I would have bought it from them instead.
I can't lie, I was really pumped for today and its new release. The weekend was a bummer and I was looking for the lift.

So how was today's "guaranteed awesome release" treating you?

If you really want a game that bad, then either eBay it or find another way *wink* to procure it. Whining won't help anything except to get you a few replies similar to this one.

Quite well, actually. How about you?
