Question: if someone is preparing a gift of game for some other person does he still need to get gift code and send that code to that person to redeem or he could just select that person "from the list" and game will be delivered?
This question / problem has been solved by Aliasalphaimage
You need to send it to an email address, in theory you could email yourself, get the code and then give it to someone written down, emailed, IMed etc

So there is no "internal GOG gifting system"? :(

Not yet.
Wouldn't an 'internal system' make it impossible to gift games to non (yet) gog users ?

No internal gifting, no internal pm, no...

What a site is this? :D

Well, still I must say I like GOG. :)

Well, yes, but that should be one of options. The other could be email.

Yes, but nothing says we'd have to give up the current system in favor of an internal system. GOG could set it up so we can gift to either a GOG user or to an e-mail address.

That could all be solved with public profiles...

Since they'd have to maintain the current email system to cover gifts for non usres don't you think that coming up with a side by side system to cover JUST gog users would be a massive waste of time ? Then again, they did implemented the gogmixes so who knows, you might see it implemented yet ;)

Yes, but public profiles are not on the top of priority list I think. Who really needs to check posts, make signatures, etc. ;)

And I think that required a lot more work than just to add internal gifting system.
(I'm not saying that internal gifting system is a must, just comparing)

I'm sure it did ;)

Anyway, i understand what you're saying, i just think that there are a few things that should take precedence, and by a few things i mean support, support and support.

Don't forget support, that definitely takes precedence over everything else.
