Just a brief update.

After much deliberation between the Roccat Kone and Logitech, I have finally ordered a logitech G700.

This was for a few reasons:

1. Looking at the pictures, I think I prefer the button layout on the G700 to the kone, especially having the four thumb buttons.
2. Everybody here who recommended logitech praised the build quality and reliability of this mouse, which is a big perk for me
3. It uses the same software as my g13 and g110. This doesn't really matter that much, but I'm already comfortable with it, so making profiles should be easy.

It's not as pretty as the Kone, and it will be the only peripheral I own that doesn't light up blue, but overall it seemed the better choice.
