StarEye: You can say plenty bad about FF10, but it's fun to play and has a great atmosphere and soundtrack. Not my favourite in the series, but it's still one of the games I spent the most time on.
Absolutely, every game has it's flaws, but if it manages to outweigh them the game is alright in my book.

Hell, FF10 packs an immense amount of content, I've yet to max any single player, since the task of 99,000 HP Defense and attack is a hefty one. Add to that, like you said, a wonderful OST( the Piano pieces I listen to almost daily) and you have one of Squaresoft's last great games.

The real sticking point is the voice acting of Tidus. God, he was/is annoying.

CymTyr: Hey Orcish, I'd be interested in the lotro codes if you've still got them. Let me know bro, I can post my email up and edit it, etc. I can't reciprocate at the moment, but I can return the favor down the road.

Also, games I play forever:

Diablo 2 (reinstall it every so often, roll a character, get through normal diff. on the ladder then forget I have an account)

Fallout's (All of them are worth replaying imho)

lotro

DDO from time to time

orcishgamer: I think I have 2x500 point codes left over from PAX that should still be unexpired. I'll email them by the end of the weekend if you want them, just need an email address.
Hey Orcish,

Not to sound bothersome but I never received the email from you this past weekend. Was hoping to get those codes so I could give one to my friend who is leaving for basic training today...

Anyway I understand if you've found someone more worthy of them, if not please send them to <EDIT>

Hope you had a great Halloween, bro.

No worries Orcish, I'm not the most memorable of members here ;) It'd help if I posted half as much as I lurk.

They are emailed, if you don't get them or just one of them works, let me know and I'll see if I just typed something wrong.

Thank you, sir. I will check now. Will edit as needed. As I said, times are a bit tough at the moment, but once the dust settles (I am moving and in between positions at work) I will gift you a game or reciprocate as I can.

World of Warcraft and Team Fortress 2 are two games I really feel like I can "pick up and play" whenever I want to, and I don't have to worry about what I was doing in the game the last time I played since each play session is pretty much self contained. I used to be big on Counter-Strike but after TF2 came out, I barely ever play it.

Super Mario World is also a pickup and play game that I find myself playing at least once a month.
Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie. These two are a couple of those treasured games of my childhood. Awesome when I played them as a kid and even now I love them to bits. If I ever need an effective antidepressant, listening to the spring theme of Click Clock Woods works wonders. The fact that the series was raped in recent years makes me a very sad panda (I'm looking at you, Nuts 'n' Bolts).

GTA: San Andreas. Huge sandbox world full of vehicles to steal (or blow up, whatever takes your fancy), people to kill and other fun shit to do. Great for a bit of mindless over-the-top fun. What more could you want?

Hearts of Iron II + expansions: All you need is a graphics mod to fix Germany's flag and you're good.
