Leliana's Song, the latest DLC for Dragon Age.
It was really good. I enjoyed it more than Awakenings even though it's one-quarter the length at most.
So my list this year stands at:
Tropico 3, Teen Agent, Every Day the Same Dream, Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age: Origins--Awakenings, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Civilization IV, Alpha Protocol, Loved, Dragon Age: Origins--Leliana's Song

wodmarach: And a few others like the XCOM games

which ones so i can add them properly to the list
List updated with an update which i hope is up to date.

Singularity
Complete Halflife set

does anyone think they could do anything cool with this data? like, could make up some pretty charts and graphs to show off what goggers are into? could be interesting, i'd be down to help format the data correctly if someone's got a good program. I wouldn't really want to do the counting manually.

the best I can do is to use Ctrl-F function in Word and:
we get 156 different people (by counting [ b ] symbol)
and total game completed:
951
(by counting commas, adding 156 as each entry has one less comma than number of games completed, then adding games which i grouped together like: Max Payne 1&2 or Fallout 1-3 which is 36+16)
average:
6 games per person.

lukaszthegreat: average:
6 games per person.

see? interesting information already!
that's pretty impressive. although i guess people are only posting in this thread if they are proud of their accomplishments, so if filters out people who've only played a couple of games.
Okay, I'm in:
Portal
UFO Aftermath (with ComboMod)
Star Control 2 (Ur Quan Masters version)
Shogun: Total War - which portions of were remarkably similar to a board game by Hasbro with the same name. Surprised they didn't get sued over it.
Neverwinter Nights
Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of Undrentide
Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark
And that's probably all I'll be able to finish this year, unless my squaddies in Aftershock start shooting straight, or I can stay on the road in Burnout: Paradise City. *grumble* not everyone has a certified Xbox PC controller Criterion.
can now add
prince of persia:TFS
Dante's Inferno
Neverwinter Nights Diamond.
Well, I left the Kingmaker and the other module included left unplayed, since I wanted something new to try out if I ever reinstall the game, but the main campaign and both expansions were finished to completion.
Dragon Age Origins with the noble self sacrifice ending as a mage and with the hardest to get companion. I was going to go back and let him sacrifice himself but then I got Awakenings so I've been playing that instead
Dragon Age Origins: Awakenings, short but good, plenty of cool new stuff
Dragon Age Origins: Leliana's Song, quite short and very linear but also very good

Hi.
Here's my list:
- Trine
- Tales of Monkey Island
- Secret Of Monkey Island SE
- MDK 1 & 2
- F.E.A.R.
- Call of Cthullu : Dark Corners of the Earth
- Penumbra Black Plague and its addon
- Half-Life 2 Episodes 1 & 2
And I probably forgot some...
I seem to be tearing through games lately, just added Sam & Max Episode 304: Beyond the Alley of the Dolls, bloody good as always, really looking forward to the season finale.
Since I last posted, off the top of my head:
Dragon Age: Awakening - Not sure why people complained about this one, seemed like good new DA goodness to me. The Architect was creepy and there were some great choices to make...
Dragon Age: Leiliana's Song - Excellent add-on, really enjoyed it. The new music was lovely and giving the character a voice was great. No real choices to make though, which sucked. So I guess like a 7 overall?
Monkey Island 2: SE - Loss of intro is a travesty, but everything else was lovely. Mouse controls actually worked!
Fallout - Replayed the original Fallout for the new PC Gamer forums and their "gamer club." Played a one-hander pistoleer for the first time and boy did he suck towards the end killing mutants...
Singularity - Bioshock with polished Raven-style combat... excellent fun, just don't call it original.
Entire Splinter Cell Series - I played them all over again after completing Conviction... Chaos Theory is still the best, followed by the original game. Pandora Tomorrow and Double Agent are okay, but have lousy PC ports (especially Double Agent). Conviction was a great game, but not a great Splinter Cell game.
GTA4: Ballad of Gay Tony - Freaking amazing, an honest to goodness expansion and one with the highest level of quality. Loved every minute of it.
Mass Effect 2: Overlord - The best DLC for the game by a mile and a very worthy 2 hour questline. The hub world idea is great, I hope they use it again, and the story, combat and locations were all excellent. Well worth the money for an ME2 fan.
Mass Effect 1 & 2

we have bunch of people who really push the average high... simple look at the list really reveals who they are.
but we also have bunch of people who posted one game and never ever showed up again but unless they are dead they most likely did finish more games this year.
6 games in 7 months is not a big deal with our community.
