Tomb Raider Anniversary - if I was oligarch I'd seek out and burn every copy of this game, including HD reissue and pirate copies.

crdy123: Warning: Long Post

GTA 4: This game wouldn't have been so bad if there were checkpoints... BUT NOPE, there are some really long difficult missions in this game and when you get to the end and die, you want to jump out of a window. Don't get me wrong, I still love this game, it just pisses me off

GTA SA: Same as IV, just harder, I cheated on the last mission because it pissed me off so much

Jak 3: The sewer sections made me break my controller

KoTOR 2: I love this game but the last 2 sections... Malachor and the core were like a damn maze, I probably spent a good 2 hours in each area.

Dark Souls: Just bought this on PC (first time playing it) and... holy sh*t, it wasn't bad the first hour, and then I unleashed my fury the bonfires (checkpoints) are spread few and far between (if that made any sense) and dieing is truly punishing. Seriously, I have 13 hours logged and I only just beat the bell gargoyles, and now I have no clue on where to go.

Anyways, sorry for the long post, those are only a few games that have made me incredibly mad. Bye

Elmofongo: Wow if you think GTA 4 ans San Andreas was hard,Clearly you never played GTA 3 and Vice City
Actually I have played a bit of Vice City, as I have it on Steam, and I have GTA 3 for my PS2 I have just not played it yet.

Haha, maybe I'll give it a spin later today.
Battle Toads? The flying scooter mission - not even save state can help me here!

Interestingly, Contra is my first NES game (and one of my few NES game, we are not actually rich... ) is not that hard, and I can proudly call myself as a member of "win with one lives" group. There is a lot of cheap tricks, and in two player, you can be a good team:

eg:

first level boss: did you know two person with S weapon can walk up to the red dot and shoot? and win?

third level boss: stand under the hand. two player means two hand destroyed without being able to do much.

etc. etc. anyway, back on topic:

Gender War : The AI, stuck and all that.

And many other games with stupid game design.

be warned though GTA 3 is bland as fuck you will not remember anybody in the game and there is no map so you have to use the net or recognize the city in your head oh and of course there are bullshit missions like racing with a broken A.I. damn they drive so fast

Dark Souls is one for me. After finishing Demon Souls I was looking forward to this game but due to seriously bad clipping issues, the fact that my xbox keeps disconnecting resetting my game and the generally shitty performance I just gave up.

If I wasn't a GTA fan, I probably would never touch that game, thanks for the heads up!

Still when I beated the game I felt a sort of bragging rights like it makes you feel hardcore at beating a challenging/broken game
