Was it a good year for games in 2012? FarCry 3, Assassin's Creed 3, Borderlands 2.

I wouldn't know. I always buy games a year or more after release. Too expensive otherwise.

On the other hand, i have one of the world's best collections of $5 games.

Yes... completed The Witcher 1 and 2, and put in more than two months of actual /played time into Diablo 3 and WoW: MoP combined.

Depends on the individual that's playing the games. Personally, I really enjoyed Virtue's Last Reward, XCOM:EU, The Walking Dead, Dishonored, and Legend of Grimrock - plus a bunch of others, but the ones I listed really spoke to me the most.
