I've recently purchased Witcher 2 because I thought my computer was up to the task of handling it high requirements. But, as soon as I start to play the game, the game play is all twitchy, the audio is fine as is the dialogue and I can play it, it just seems that there a delay in the movements which makes it seem jumpy. Here are my PC's specs, do I need to update something?

Manufactuerer and Model: Packard Bell, ixtreme M5741

Processor:
Intel (R)
Core (TM) i3
CPU 530
2.93 GHz

RAM:
3.00 GB

System Type:
64-bit operating system

Graphics/Video Card:
nvidia GeForce 9500 GT

Thanks You.

Do you have any background applications running at the same time? What kind of anti-virus do you have? Do you have the latest drivers installed for your video card? Your computer is capable of running the game, but probably not at its highest settings, have you tried adjusting them?

Updating graphics card drivers and lowering graphics settings should solve that....
It's likely your graphics card that is causing the bulk of your problems (the 9500 is for the most part just a renamed 8600 with a bit more memory). Try turning down your graphic settings in the game until you get results that are playable.
Yeah, 9500 was a budget card when it came out and it's now pretty old on top of that. Minimum settings would probably result in a very playable and still good looking game. You're lucky in that you could get a new card and throw it into the same PC for a massive upgrade. I need a whole new mobo, memory setup and processor to do a real upgrade.
