It was one of the best (Not Star Wars) game that ever came from Lucas Arts. I wonder what the chances of getting that game to GOG would be. I guess George Lucas probably keeps a tight leash on all copyrights, even though he burried that game a long time ago.
Considering we don't have a single LucasArts game here, the chances are "none" until LucasArts gets signed, if it ever does.

AFAIK Steam is the only download service to have old LucasArts adventure games, so that's the most likely place for Full Throttle to show up some day.

Some indication on the Internet mentions that Steam has got negotiations with Lucas Arts at the moment and in fact I know you can get some Monkey Island games there, which is a pity as I really do prefer the way GOG works. I despise the fact that with steam I need to run a internet app to be able to play.

That said, I also love Lucas Arts games and if it means I need to get them at Steam, I will, but for the moment I am giving GOG a chance to get them.
Yeah, looks as if Steam does have an deal with LUcasarts that gives them exclusive rights to on line distribution of Lucasarts games...sadly.

Not really, the Monkey Island games and oldies like Fate of Atlantis and The Dig are on Direct2Drive too.
If it comes on GOG I'll get it.
If it comes on Steam I won't.

I use Steam and I have quite a few games on it but I hate how it's so heavy-weight and how the offline mode works like a piece of shit. I'm very much willing to expand my GOG catalogue with games that I don't intend to play in the near future, cannot say the same about Steam.
I'm lucky I found a copy of this in a second hand game shop. Still haven't played it yet tho. But it's definitely on my to-do list when I eventually get the time.

I think I paid $5-$10 for my copy off Ebay 5 years back or so...

It's short, and it's loud. You need to play it this very evening, for god's sake.
