I´m just writing here that on Origin´s site is giving a free copy of Wing Commander 3 for everyone... Simply register to their site and add the game to your library... It´s free until 2.september...

So far, they've given away Dead Space, Peggle, Plants v Zombies and Battlefield 3 for their "On the House" promotion. I would recommend checking their site regularly for new free games.

When Origin of all things is having a more customer friendly service then Steam, you know things need to change.

Can anybody tell if it is the GOG version?

To be fair, they are doing these things because they are doing much worse than Steam and still have trouble winning people over after all the hate campaigns. I bet they wouldn't do that kind of stuff if people weren't still scared of using Origin.

Anyway, EA wants Origin to be more popular and attracts people with great freebies - everybody wins! Well, except GOG I guess...

I have the Origin client only, that I wanted the whole series of C&C... That is the biggest RTS of my life and spent hours with games like Red Alert 2. Unfortunately these gems can´t be purchased on GOG´s site :/

Yeah, The Ultimate Collection was also one of my first purchases on Orign (maybe my first). Great stuff. Would gladly re-buy all the games on GOG.
