mrkgnao: Thank you. I will click the seventh stamp then.

Orionos: So you were stamp collecting just to get the gift codes? That's kind. Movie is fun though, if you grew up in the boardgame RPG world. Their acting skills got better in the later movies, but this one's still fun.
Hello, my name is mrkgnao and I am a collectoholic.
I joined GOG in April 2009 and bought only about 30 games until October 2010. I didn't even bother to get the free games.
Then came October 20, 2010. GOG gave me a free gift (Combat Mission: Beyond Overlord); can't even remember why.
Four years later, I own almost 800 games on GOG.
Kids, just say no to movies.

Glider_of_chaos: I'm pretty sure he was speaking of the The Gamers move, not Witcher ;)
Hmm, now I just feel stupid. Permanent -3 intelligence for me.

I can say no to movies, it's TV series that get me every time.

Indeed. I have a rather large DVD collection, mostly TV series.
Thankfully, two years ago I got Amazon Prime. Didn't buy a single DVD since.

I'm still waiting for a platform-independent provider. Every store has their own quirks and limitations. I just want the ability to play my movie on whichever device I want, as well as download it/back it up if I choose to. Like GOG does, but then for the mainstream market. I'd love a digital copy of the Star Trek series, those DVD boxes take up a lot of space.

Just finished watching the Gamers. Quality wasn't what I expected, I recall watching a better one from another source not long ago. But I'm really glad to have it on GOG nonetheless. I've seen the first 3, and now I own the first one. Yay!

mrkgnao: I already have Witcher 2, but not the movie. And I do not want the movie.
Is the movie automatically added to your library or can you decide to gift it even if you do not own it?

Treasure: I got two gift codes with the email, one for the Witcher 2 and one for the movie separately. I redeemed the movie one only, as I also have the Witcher 2 already.
I found out 2 days late you need to click the plus, so I still got 2 stamps to go, but when I do, I'll have a gift code for Witcher 2 as well.

The forum will be flooded with people giving away Witcher 2 codes I think.
Got my gift codes. It's a pity they don't appear under the gift tab in my account.

P.S. The codes are valid only until December 31.

Well, actually when I redeemed the movie code, it showed me a screen where I could "make it a gift", which would thus presumably convert it into a permanent code and put it into my gifts tab. I presume the same might happen with the Witcher 2 code.
Edit- oh wait, I´d need to not own the game in question for that to happen. That sucks :-/

Is anyone else having a problem downloading the mod tools for "The Witcher 2"? I have tried twice it always stops downloading at about the two GB mark and the file is no good. It is supposed to be 6GB.

Some browsers have trouble with files over 2GB. Try using a different one or the GOG downloader.

Thanks for the tip but it didn't work. It still stopped in the exact same place.
