infinite9: I've read the article and Fox News made NO CLAIM that the game causes rape. Some psychologist did. Fox News just simply mentioned a quote from her as well as a quote from someone who finds nothing wrong with violent video games who I believe was from the National Youth Rights Association (or something like that).

As for claims about Fox News being liars or bias, all news networks are biased. MSNBC, CNN, and ABC News are no better and have done things that were way worse than that article which, as already stated, MADE NO ACTUAL ACCUSATIONS of a game causing rape or murder.

I've seen ABC News accuse political conservative pundits of causing the shooting incident in Arizona (the one involving Congresswoman Giffords). I've seen CNN accuse people who opposed Mr. Obama's fiscal policies of being "anti-government" and I've seen it release a false report claiming that weapons on a so called "assault weapons" ban list had full auto capabilities when they didn't at all. I've seen MSNBC use edited footage to depict a protester who was demonstrating against Obamacare as a white racist even though the protester was black. Now these are way worse and way more bias than an article that makes no real accusation about a video game.

So you all can just calm down now about your video game getting accused of crap.
yet teh excitement referenced here would come from the folks it's programmed for to watch this 'news'...and hearing that it 'causes' rape. And these same networks showcase the same racy kind of feature after 11, its not just on HBO anymore. Fans of games are not concerned w/ this game like it was GTA or Zelda, never heard of it. When u regard the message u can't find sympathy for the messenger. Things like this equalize when one ignores their separate contexts. Whats pointed out here is their day to day witch hunts are much better because they are exclusive from the target.....most of the time lol

doccarnby: Then I'd have to say no, but I kinda wish they did.
It probably wasn't FOX News then, but I know someone of moderate import said it.
