I figure the general forum would be a better place to post this than the RCT subforum, as I'd consider this a point of broader interest beyond those games.

Now here's something awesome I stumbled upon via random googling about roller coasters. Check out this home-made roller coaster by this Jeremy Reid fellow. It may not be anything real fancy, but it's still pretty impressive for what looks to be a one-man project, which also happened to take about ten years to properly construct.

Also, of the digital variety for people interested in realistic coaster building has anybody else here played around with NoLimits Roller Coaster? Probably the best simulation of its kind to date. That, is until NoLimits 2 will be released, which seems to be a ways off still; progress has been slow on that front. Anyway, one of these days I ought to actually try to really build something with it, but I find the editor quite intimidating - I've only had this program for some eight years now. There's some fantastic user-created coasters to be found on the web though.

Got anything cool or interesting about coasters you'd like to share? Any personal favorite types? I've always been partial to the smaller wild-mouse kind and mine-themed coasters.
