I can't stand to watch a sport where someone is falling down in agony after being hit by a fresh breeze. The WWE doesn't fake as much as the players in soccer do.

TheCheese33: I love football, but I hate John Madden and Lee Corso. Hating Lee Corso will make watching college football much harder for me.

Haha! Corso can suck it. I hate Brent Musburger even more though. To make it worse, he is always announcing the biggest college games. I try to listen to the radio instead while watching a game, but that is usually a few seconds ahead of the television. Oh well. I guess I'll just have to put up with Musbooger.

Try playing football with some Europeans. I'm sure they will change your mind about that faking crap. ;)

stonebro: American "Football" is probably the most boring sport out there...

orcishgamer: You, sir, have clearly never watched any Major League Baseball (or cricket for that matter).

Cricket is AWESOME!!!!!! How many Wickets can you get in cricket :p lol......
im being sarcastic :
To weigh in on the "my Football is better than yours" debate:
To me, (American) Football is more fun to play. But if I had to pick one to watch, I would watch (Soccer) Football in a heartbeat.
That being said, Hockey is even more fun to watch than (Soccer) Football. But it is a lot less popular, so whatever.

Is there anyone... ANYONE!?!?!... who can explain cricket?
As for soccer, you have goals that you can park three cars in and about 3 hours to play... how is it possible that the score is usually 0 - 0 at the end of the game?
And "American" football involves more waiting for action than an Igmar Bergman film festival.
There is only one sport worth paying any attention to at all...
The rough and tumble world of bobsled racing!
Now that is a sport.

Actually I have to second this, I used to watch peewee hockey in Switzerland and it was very entertaining. It might be the most entertaining sport to watch, period.
I never played football (American) in highschool, I sort of missed that experience. I hear Backbreaker is fun, that might be the closest I ever get:)
well american football would be a much better thing to watch then fkn cross country skiing

HoneyBakedHam: Is there anyone... ANYONE!?!?!... who can explain cricket?

Yes..........
But it makes my brain hurt just thinking about it.......... ill edit in an explanation after i have another cup of coffee and another smoke and find out what time the India Sri Lanka game (cricket) is on :0 cause to be honest ill have to watch it to know the proper terms lol
Ok so had my coffee... Cricket is complicated but the gist of the game is the pitcher throws the ball towards the bowler he tries to knock these things called wickets down... there are three of them...the guy with the bat knocks the ball away and runs basically to where the pitcher is and runs back to where he bats from to score a point. 11 people per team, and it goes till the wickets get knocked down... there are 2 umpires normally, and they have the final say....
im gonna watch today's match and see if im close to being right.... prolly not but more or less I might have the positions jacked or the scoring jacked but, it faster paced then baseball or tennis :p "Normally"
