So, I was sitting back listening to some game music with my girlfriend.. when a remix of the frog theme (chrono trigger) came on played prominently with flutes. This prompted my girl to say how much she loved flutes and flute music...

So it got me thinking, I wonder if there are flutes used in any game music/remixes besides this one?

Tell me GOG, where is the gaming flute at these days! :O

A flute is featured prominently in Makke's remix of Sanxion on his album It's Binary Baby!
There are magic flutes in Super Mario Bros 3...

lol, mention flute and immediately I hear the Marshall Tucker Band's Can't you see followed by a few notes of an unknown Zamfir tune. Sorry . . . =)

The Witcher has an excellent soundtrack.

And have another one while you're at it.
Will duduks count as flutes?
If so this peace rocks.

Guild Wars OST - Over the Shiverpeaks

Violin/Flute, composed by Jeremy Soule. One of my favorite tracks from Guild Wars.
Xenogears and Xenosaga (episode 1) uses low whistles (which could be considered flutes)

Beyond Good and Evil use flutes perriodicalle, particularly in their "calm" music.

That what I got on the top of my head.
Zelda?

Hey, nice! Reminds me of Djivan Gasparyan. (edit: if only b/c you said duduk. I don't hear so much the nasal tone I attributed to duduk. Sounds a bit like shakuhachi, but has the too much of a range to be)

(edit2: agh, that breathy tone sounds like a shak!)

Anyway, Beyond Good and Evil uses snips:
(Jade's theme)

(and Ballad of Hyllis)

Not sure if they are actual flute sounds or not, but The Bard's Tale (2004) has them.

there is the Huline Jungle music from Lands of Lore: Guardians of Destiny. Its not all flute, but much of the melody is played by it. I think its the flute at least. A lot of folk instruments sound similar to to flute by my untrained ears.
