I used to play floorball at an advanced level in my early teens, but at the time there was a lot of stuff going on in my life, and I eventually quit. Ever since I've had a rather inactive lifestyle, but now I've grown restless and want to start playing again.
I want to join an amateur team, one that plays a few times a week after work, just for the fun of it. While not required, it'd be great if this team was sociable enough to go out for a few pints together every now and then, too.
I've looked around online (and I only found professional teams), and I've looked on Meetup (which doesn't have a single floorball group), and now I'm not sure where to look anymore. I'd start a meetup group myself, but I might be leaving NY in a year and would rather just join an existing team.
Anyone have any tips?
