It's not terribly impressive. I mean you can get the same result with the original homeworld by force applying AF and AA.

Looks more like artwork than an in game screenshot.

Color me stupid but I'm not seeing much of a difference. Of course when I'm playing HW I'm so into the strategy I rarely stop and examine everything....minus the opening sequence with the launch of the Mother Ship of course.

Looks good, just like the original only with higher texture detail and some nice smoothing. Not that I'm likely to notice too often, since I usually play zoomed so far out that all the ships are the size of ants. :)
