It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I was wondering if I could have some assistance. I am new here and have purchased a series of games. I have tried downloading all of them multiple times and all I get is the files are corrupted, please download again. Is there any issues going on I am unaware of. I tried downloading 5 times and I keep getting corrupted files. Is there a fix I should know about?
I have tried both the gog downloader and the browser download. Neither are working.

Thank you in advance.

Kev
Which operating system & browser are you using?

Can you try downloading on another computer?

When you're doing the browser based download, are you using any download managers (getright, flashget, integrated stuff in firefox etc)?

The new free game Tyrian 2000 is only 10MB, are you able to get that?

Thanks for the reply:

I'll see if I can try another computer tomorrow, but I tried both Google Chrome and Firefox (With DownloadThem All Add-On) - I also tried Tyrian 2000 and that also said it was corrupt using both the Gog downloader and the Browser.

I use Windows XP with sp 3 and have both Google Chrome and Firefox installed along with IE. Haven't tried IE yet - I'll try that tomorrow. If anyone has any other advice I can try to get these files so I can install them :)
I'm pretty sure DownloadThemAll uses multiple connections to the same source which GOG doesn't support

Thing is I don't think chrome does that by default and if there's anywhere the GOG downloader should work its on GOG!

It might be worth reinstalling the downloader and adobe air, just to rule that out

Still doesn't explain chrome... What sort of net connection do you have?
Could try a portable stand-alone version of a browser like Firefox portable to eliminate the possibility of it being extension or add-on related.
If you were downloading to a shared network resource I would also try d/l'ing to your local machine. Also try disabling any security software suite you may be running while d/l'ing.

I remember having this problem once (the game was Riven, if it matters)-no different browser would seem to help. Eventually, I just tried it on a different computer and it worked fine. Fortunately, thanks to GoG's lack of DRM, transferring between computers is quite easy.
Most likely something in your very first download was corrupted and is still resident in your temp files somewhere. That lingering corruption is simply being "applied" to subsequent downloads. Try clearing your internet cache and all other temp files, then re-download one of the previously corrupted games again (I'd recommend Tyruian as Alias already suggested). If the problem is in your temp files, the new download should work fine.
I forgot to mention about making sure your browser wasn't trying to open the files after download. And if the game is spanned over 2 or more files, make sure to download all parts to one folder before running the setup executable.
Also, what AV software are you running? Some might corrupt your download so try disabling it while downloading the files
I just wanted to say thank you to all you replied. The downloads are working now and I thought I would just let everyone know what solved my issue. First of all, I tried downloading the files on my wife's computer and they downloaded fine. I then checked my system again. My Firewall was never turned off and it looked like this was the cause. I turned my Firewall off and tried again. This time it worked. Thank you again. I just finished installing BG - now for the rest. I may have more questions but I'll direct those to a more specific forum :)
