So, today is the beginning of Gamersgate's strategy week. I went on trying to get a few games, only to have the order fail a few times due to "too many orders at one time". So I try a few more times, hoping I'll get through.

Then I give it a 10 minute break...

Then I try again, and, guess what. My Paypal account is locked. Seriously. Because several payments didn't go through because of something in the middle, my Paypal account is locked.

Then there's Onpay.ru. I'd never used it until I attempted to buy ZDSimulator today, but apparently the only way to pay in an assured USD amount is to pay through LiqPay.com, which is supposedly a scam (not that I managed to navigate the payment form anyways...freaking Google Chrome's auto-translations suck). I don't even know if I can pay with a US credit card through the service (if anyone has had any experience with either provider, I'd greatly appreciate it...I'd love to be able to support the ZDSim dev(s)).

It's just overly irritating. All of the time. Why can't they all be simple like GOG? :/

Now, if you'll excuse me, since I have neither my phone (not my brightest move), nor my checkbook (I never use it, so I leave it in my desk all of the time and I'm out of town) with me, I have to go find Paypal's 1-800 number and get my account unlocked. T_T

If you can't get a bank account for some reason why not use Visa pay cards? They work well online and don't charge more than Paypal does.

Oh, I have a bank account. That's not the issue. There are just a lot of places that only accept Paypal, or it's either Paypal or something I've never used before.

In Gamersgate's case, my options are something like Paypal, Moneybookers, and Skrill (dunno if I spelled that right). I had a Paypal account so I tried using those.

How are Moneybookers and Skrill?
