Only in the Month Of Gaming Love: Buy at Least 2 Games and Get 10% Off

We Love our Gamers. We Love our Games. February is a Month of Love, so it’s a special time for GOG.com, for you, and for all the DRM-free delight that we’re offering. We know that you’re nice to our Good Old Games. We know that they get all the proper treatment on your computers; you play with them a lot, you care for your saves, you hold a special place in your heart for them.

But a single game in your cart might feel lonely. Our games don’t want to be alone in February. That is why we have prepared a special discount for game lovers and loved games.

Get the games together - add at least two full-priced games into your cart and you will get a 10% discount on your purchase. Make it any games that aren’t on sale- they don’t hate or dislike and any other title will make them feel happy and loved.

Don’t let any game be alone this February.

P.S. When you buy games at GOG.com you always receive the highest advertised discount, but our promos don’t stack. So, if you buy any game on sale for more than 10% off you will receive the higher discount instead of this one, and it won’t count towards our “buy two games and save 10%” special.
This is rudicilious.... only 10%??? GOG COME ON !!! YOU CAN DO BETTER... (AT LEAST 25%)

@those who say 10% isn't enough
While you're, of course, entitled to your opinion, please take into consideration that GOG has no obligation whatsoever to even give any month-long discounts, so you should compare this 10% to the 0% that would be in effect under normal circumstances.
(If 10% isn't enough to entice you to buy anything, that's fine, but that's your concern - then it's business as usual for you. This promo is for those who do appreciate even a 10% in discounts.)

People keep saying that GOG doesn't have to give us any discounts at all, and we should be grateful for anything we get. But do you really think they are granting discounts just to be nice to us? Of course not -- they are running a business. They are discounting their games because it makes business sense, not because they are our friends. They make more money if they grant the occasional discounts than if they don't. Believe me, if they didn't have to do it, they wouldn't.

I agree that 10% is a bit low

But then again, it's understandable that GOG had to get agreements from each publisher on the website, so I guess that explains the low discount

Still though, it's a nice touch regardless, I just hope there will be something special for Valentine's day here
Hi, I am a customer and I may purchase five games when the Seventh Guest series is released, as I am curious about that series and I am considering several other games which I may purchase along with it. May I please get an extra discount for that, as that is 2.5 times as many games as are required to get the 10%?
Also, I am having a lot of problems with your account log-in feature, as it keeps insisting that I have not logged in, and opens windows in front of the current one, even after I have logged into my account. Please look into these problems, as they are kind of annoying.

Maybe other people do, but I've personally never said they do it because they're awesome like that - like you say, it's a business decision. What I'm saying is that it's cool that they decided to even give 10% off, based on -I guess- solid market considerations.
Like I've stated earlier, it this is too little for you, you're not forced to take advantage of the discount. This is for people who are enticed to buy a few games with 10% off. This is good for them, because they have to spend less (even if it's $0.6-1 a game), and good for GOG, since it probably does lead to increased sales. (If it was a promo doomed for failure from the beginning, they wouldn't even do it - exactly because it wouldn't make business sense).

pH7: Bah.. If you actually read the forums you would know we're not all nice to our games - some of us have huge backlogs of games collecting digital dust, unplayed, unloved , in the dark, forgotten. Some of us even have a sadistic streak, installing games, and then just ignoring them until we one day uninstall them, without even having played them.

My GOG games have been mistreated so badly that they've started praying to higher powers to let the bad sectors take them away, bit by bit, in to oblivion and final peace. Currently they're all confined to a separate partition that is unmounted most of the time. The only happy game I have is Sanitarium. It feels safe and at home there, if not loved.

But what do you decide to do, knowing this is happening to your games, your labour of love? Run yet another promo that will ensure even more games will be suffering this fate, that's what. This isn't a two wrongs make one right kind of situation - on the contrary, it's one right turned into almost two wrongs. Luckily for you I'm a "ludiciopath" and thus support you whole-heartedly.

I have decided to doom two games to the uncertain fate of unregulated, no unions allowed, all sales final, privately held ownership. That is, one of you may get your grubby hands on "Evil Genius" and one other GOG game of your choice (except those on sale now, including TW2), for you to add to your backlog and let them stay there and rot for as long as you like.

There are some conditions, of course:
1. You must have a backlog of GOG games of at least three titles. List them (3 or more) in your reply.
2. You do not already own Evil Genius. If you don't own it because you don't think you'll ever want to play it, even better.
3. You must be able to define "ludiciopath" convincingly.

The first to fulfill all three conditions will be the winner.
Gee, talk about having a backlog of GOG games.....
I don't even know if I have "Evil Genikus" here or not , I would have to go to the "games catalogue" page to check - else looking would take too long....
And no way am I going to list my "backlog" here.........
I know that the "competition" is over so "I am just saying"......

Anyway , speaking of "backlogs" , am I the only one that misses the 60% (or more) off bundle offers ? - I mean lately it is , if not 10% , then 50%...... I mean my "backlog" has yet to encompass all GOG games so keep the good times, oh! I mean offers , rolling/comming.....
;-)
I'm poor right now so I can't take advantage of this offer :(

Ah well, enjoy your new games, people!
