Like New Zealand can do anything to America. To them, the judge is just blowing hot air. He can't do anything to them, and he can't force them to pay. They'll just find another way to get rid of Dotcom.

The only thing they are doing with this fraud is losing credibility. All this over piracy, and correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that mega upload did have some function where you can flag a file for review if it contained copyrighted material.

Why the focus so much attention on that one nerd instead of directing their focus on people who actually are menaces to society such as the drug cartels, human trafficers, producers of CP, and serial killers. I'm not saying that they shouldn't try to stop piracy, but that level of force was pure overkill and uncalled for. Farthermore, how the hell did they expect New Zealand to not be interested in seeing the evidence against one of their own and ensure he recieves some form of a fair trial?
