I searched and almost hijacked some old thread to post this rather than create a new post, but decided the other one wasn't on-topic enough.

Anyways, just a Friday Night thread dedicated to your favorite movie/game/etc. trailers. Often these are more exciting than the actual product, but of course the idea is to get you excited enough to hand over your cash.

I'm an action junkie in some ways, and I've noticed that some of the older action films have, well, more exciting trailers than the cookie-cutter ones today (imo).

Die Hard (1988): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-qxBXm7ZUTM

Lethal Weapon 2 (1989): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0CuUw0_QWY&feature=related

But there are certainly new ones (of different genres) that I've enjoyed:

Grindhouse (2007): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0AaVUs3-Pw

Paranorman (coming): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NbtltCSpcU

Up (2009): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxMcViTf7KU (Love Carl's "baaahhh..." moment)

And of course video games:

Rochard: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pI2w7HbzY48

Need for Speed The Run: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zp2HROFjxxk&ob=av3n (Michael Bay is a trailer man)

GTA5 (it's honestly pretty good, imo): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkkoHAzjnUs

The best character in Warcraft.
I kind of thought the Serious Sam 3 teaser trailer was pretty funny: "No cover, all man!"
DC Universe Online
Splatterhouse

This game was awesome By the way
2046:

By the way, am I the only one who is annoyed by the fact that many current movie trailers are basically mini versions of the film in question? As in, they summarize the story up to about 15 minutes before the end, when some kind big decision has to be made.

I guess I like it when a trailer is tantalizing, giving an impression of the mood and character of a movie, without giving away too much and destroying the mystery.
Okay, if I can actually play Evil, Fucked Up Superman, I'm going to have to try this game out.
Mass Effect 2 launch trailer.

I love the music in that game. The trailer hyped me SO much for that game.

Edit: I just watched it and.. man.. I want to play this game again.
