I think I remember a thread like this at some point. But what the hell?

I'm curious if anybody here has any particular favorite box art? Or maybe a whole batch of them? I sometimes find myself looking at the art a lot and really appreciating it. It's a shame nowadays it really doesn't matter at all.

A couple of my picks would be:

Wolfenstein 3D - DOS
DOOM - DOS
Heretic
HeXen: Beyond Heretic
Dungeon Keeper
Worlds of Ultima: The Savage Empire
Carmageddon - DOS

So, anybody else?

Muthafuckin' bump. I can't be the only one here who stares at pretty pictures.
Grim Fandango
Well, depends. Do you mean what I actually own or just anything? If it is only what I own, then http://www.dvd-covers.org/d/4085-2/Deus_Ex_Invisible_War_DVD_NTSC_Custom_fHexxxer.jpg

Any at all. You don't have to own it.

I forgot to mention, Eye of the Beholder has great art, all three do.

Well in that case, there are 'heaps'!

To name a few, there are plenty more!
It Came from the Best Box-art Ever
Umm... Stonekeep, maybe, because it was all 3D and I was like WOAH!
By a big stretch, the cover of Secret of Monkey Island.

The Indiana Jones-like look really made my 14 year old brain gasp - see, this, along with the sequel, were the first two boxed games I received and I could only play them a week later so I spent all that time gazing at the box and while the box of Le Chuck's Revenge isn't bad either, the first one really dragged me in.
One of my favourites from the 8-bit days is the CPC box art for Laser Squad:

There were so many more too, but alas, those are long since lost in the mists of my poor memory U_U

As for newer ones... I'll have to think more as nothing particularly stands out -- but then I'd say that 95% of my game purchases over the last 8 or so years has been digital =/.
How could I have forgotten...

Phalanx (SNES) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Phalanx_Coverart.png
Mega Man (North American one, NES) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Mega_Man_1_box_artwork.jpg
I'll go ahead and add six more of my personal favorites. (So many ._.)

Strife
Powerslave - DOS
Freedom Fighters - Windows
Command & Conquer - DOS
Chasm: The Rift
Bad Blood
