Yes, I know. With Uplay you have to download the game and install it, then the patches and apply them, and then the DLCs and install them and then activate them with their Uplay codes in the game, but it's exactly the same as installing from retail discs, so... not a big deal. And you can backup those installers for later use.

Is having 2 clients really that bad in its influance on Gameplay even in this game as it is now, have you ever played Far Cry 3 on Steam to see for yourself how bad the other Uplay is? I play Everquest 2 on Steam and it is running on 2 clients technically and the game runs fine. (Too bad I could not set it back to full screen because I alt tab, big mistake.)
Also, I checked the Far Cry 3 Steam forums during the past sale on Steam (I was tempted for a second), but they have the same issues as Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon on Steam, so I'm going to get it later for Uplay only.
