drmlessgames: It was a blessing, since it made people go look for Fallout 1 and 2 after seeing the utter horseshit fallout 3/new vegas was. : )

Delixe: While Fallout 3 had a lot of problems calling New Vegas horseshit is bang out of order.
ok, it's a lesser pile of horseshit.

tejozaszaszas: So i would like to make a pair of cuestions to the comunity
Wich is, in your opinio, the best Fallout game ever made?
Do you believe that Bethesda was a blessing or a disgrace for the saga?

I like more Fallout New Vegas than Fallout 3. Better history and gameplay, it have much more "roleplay".

Of course it was, Bethesda didnt make it. : )
My question is who is subscribed to GOG and doesn't have Fallout 1 and 2? I know, for me, it was the reason I signed up.

Tsk, tsk. I sold my collection and bought them on GOG. I hate physical copies of games, though. Just clutter up space.

Yeah, but the computer hardware needed to play the games take up space too. : I store my retail games there. : )

I have Fallout 2 from CD Expert, Fallout Collection - White Label (no kids in FO1, but I just need to install Children Patch), and Fallout Trilogy from GOG.com. I would like to have the big boxes of FO1 & 2, but they're too expensive to buy nowadays (unfortunately). : /

@cogath: You should try playing some hours of Fallout 1 or 2, not the demo, the full games. Get the game borrowed from a friend or something. I played this demo you're talking about, but it's different from the game released (I don't know how explain, but the demo haven't much to do with the full game).

Catshade: Thanks to Fallout 3/New Vegas, I suppose?

cogadh: No, its more likely due to the fact that the Fallout games were the first games GOG started selling two years ago and at the time of the site's launch, everyone either bought it or was given a copy for free. Plus, we are talking about Fallout here, for most people they are an insta-buy, so I'm sure a large majority of the new members that have joined the site over the years have continued to automatically buy it. I'm probably one of the very few members that hasn't bought the games at this point, especially of the "old timey" members.
Put me in the haven't bought them from GOG camp.
Bought 'em when they came out. Not buying 'em again.

I share Your pain, i'm a nut for physical releases, i loved the cardboard boxes, and hated [and still hate] the DVD cases. But, i had some luck with Fallout. Somewhere in 2008 i was at this thing called Makro Cash & Carry, it's something like a very big supermarket, where every customer needs a card, and to get that card You need to have your own business or something like that, because MC&C is mostly a wholesale market for shopowners. And to my surprise, on a little shelf near the cash registers i saw it.. a bit cardboard box of Fallout 2 [sadly, the localized version] for 7PLN, [that's about 3 bucks back then], and new games cost about 120PLN. So, it was a giveaway. Sadly, they had only one, or two [my friend bought the other, i believe], and sadly, they didn't have any other games in boxes. I still wonder if some whops have some really old artifacts, deep down in their basements...
