Does anybody have any information on the game engine that Fallout 1/2 use? Ive tried for a while but can't seem to come across any information at all, not even the name of the engine.

It's the Fallout Engine according to Wikipedia, I'm guessing that you can't find it because it was done in house specifically for the games. Which seems to be substantially less common these days than in the past.

If you want to know more about it I would guess that No Mutants Allowed would have some articles and forum threads on the engine itself.

Here they say that Fallout Engine was also used for Jagged Alliance 2. Same on Jagged Alliance wiki.

Some sources can say that Fallout use Infinity Engine but this is obviously not true.

I'm just looking out of curiosity. I've played the games so much I figured it'd be nice to know more about them.
