Wow, no way to to know until you install them. I wonder why the 660 though. The segment of buyers who buy it are normal people who buy it to play games(I built my PC in April, so I know the budget of normal people, and what budget users tend to buy). They would've been saving up for a long time to buy it, and this will shatter their hopes. Rally vile to not only host such a scam, but also to rip off people who won't be able to buy another, or go to court against the seller. Really sad to see this. So we should all be aware. If it pops up in Germany one day, it'll pop up somewhere else tomorrow.

Thanks for sharing!
May I interest you in this fine bulk Lamborghini?

We are getting fake gtx 660 & 770 and such here a few months ago on "ruten" (a local online service similar to ebay). There are no news about such activities though.

Just checked a bit and found there are fake gtx 770, 780 now...

What card did you install in your build? Was it the 660? If so, what do you think of the performance. Why do you think it an odd choice to counterfeit the 660? Is it because it's a budget card? Just curious to know.
I have an R7 260X :D It was slightly cheaper than the 660 (thanks for uber messed up regional pricing AMD! Really appreciate getting a $110=Rs.7000 card for Rs.11,000. Thanks a lot!). So I can't vouch for its performance, I'm afraid. But as per benches, it'll be enough to run most games at high (not highest) settings @1080p at 40+fps.

Well, the Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 is a budget+midlevel card that is a good card independently, but not the best in value for money. AMD currently has the R7 265 in price range : http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107-3.html
Since both are close in price, and you can almost always get free games with the AMD card(except in India, so thanks again, AMD)I don't see why someone would want to create a duplicate of it. Add to that, it is kinda dated hardware and it isn't very power efficient when compared to the competitor. Maybe there are some architectural similarities between them(660 and 440), but other than that, I don't see why anyone would make such a duplicate. Or it may have to do with the lack of monetary resources of the buyer to sue?

The worst scum, ruining the fun for everyone else. They should be put in jail for life, and forced to play Mario Bros. on the NES with the pad up their ass.
