PC version gets some new shiznit in it that we don't get on 360, including hardcore mode. You also get 3D in the engine if you have invested in that stuff. May 17, for US, no word on other areas yet.

Traitor's Keep is the new DLC, I couldn't score any reviews earlier today, but I probably don't know where to look.

Oh, there's a WP7 game, Fable Coin Golf, sort of like Pub Games for Fable 2, if you hook it up to your main Fable 3 game you get 3 new weapons.
I'm hoping that the coin golf will be as good as it was in the first fable, the linking accounts to transfer the money is a tad redundant since you hardly need money in fable 3, you can make all the altruistic choices and if you own most of the properties you'll still be rolling in the cash by the time you need it
I actually want this game, guess I'll have to find someone able to "gift" it to me over GFWM -- assuming they sell it via that service.
Out of curiosity I was playing Fable II (not III) the other day. Did III it turn out well on PC? Did you need a gamepad to make it feel less clunky? I was terribly curious how it would work with mouse and keyboard.

I've not heard bitching about it but I've not seen much mention of the PC version of game in general. Its steams weekend deal though so it might be worth giving it a shot since it is a fairly fun game

I never played Fable before. So I got Fable 3 during the Steam sales. I played awhile, at first it felt unique, then I got bored with it, fast. I've tried melee, it's horrible. Range is ok. Magic on the other hand is the win button, just spam it all the way, you'll kill everything fast. I only seem to be able to use only 1 spell.
Played with kb and mouse, no issues. Although I have a Logitech gamepad I can use anytime. I hit 7 hours with it, then stopped playing it completely. I'm not sure why, the combat didn't keep me, neither did the general gameplay or the story. The environments are beautiful though after some tweaking to the annoying depth of field, kinda like Shrek. I'll try to finish it but right now I've other awesome things to play like X series which eats up alot of time and replaying Paradox's games.
Don't know if they patched it already, but I had humongous trouble with Fable 3 + XP. The game bluescreened the computer when saving, effectively corrupting the save itself.. I remedied it by playing the game in windowed mode........

But besides that hick-up, the game itself is pretty ok :)
I loaded it up for about 10 minutes and quit to google for solutions to two major problems. Firstly, the framerate was extremely erratic, going from low to high and back again constantly with vsynch on or off. Secondly there was a weird blur to everything that I could not turn off, mostly it drove me nuts when people moved and basically left ghosting images behind them.

My googling turned up nothing but people bitching about the same things, no solutions to be found, and I haven't loaded the game up since.

The options have to be changed in the config file. Steam>steamapps>common>Fable3>VideoOptionsConfig.xml
You need to change RadialBlurMinimumEffectsDetail, MotionBlurMinimumEffectsDetail, TemporalAAMinimumEffectsDetail and SSAAMinimumEffectDetail to 99. As for the Vsync problem some have said the best solution is to have Vsync off in game and force it in your Catalyst/Nvidia control panel.

Cool, I'll try that after Rage. Thanks.

My Fable 3 is clear after some tweaking. You need to do what Delixe said and also you might wanna set Effects in the options to average or very low.
