Just wondered, will Fable (not the famous Lionhead game), the 1996 point n' click game by
Simbiosis Interactive be coming to GOG? I'm sure it must be classed as abandonware by now not sure who owns the license;

The actual companies involved with the game when it came out have (I do believe), all gone under. This means that the IP for the game is now probably a complete mess.
So I would guess that GOG will probably wait for someone such as Night Drive to obtain the rights and sell it here. Although GOG are good at making games work and selling DRM-free, they are not big on hunting down games that mean going through tons of legal paperwork and gum-shoing the people who have acquired misterious rights.
I did post it on Night Dives Facebook page so here's hoping they look into it
Is anyone else having problems With mobygames since they changed everything? I can't see screenshots anymore.
I remember seing the cover before, but i never played the game. Is it good?

It received mixed reviews when it came out and it had a horrible ending for the European version, they changed the ending for the American release due to the complaints.

I saw vids on YouTube and thought it looked interesting.

I have the retail version (for like over a decade), but I haven't installed it yet, let alone played it. :)

But I always recall the game mainly because of the kickass heavy duty retail box it has, which looks like a real book, like some kind of old book of magics.

When I moved, I destroyed most of my retail game boxes to save space (only spared the CDs and manuals)... but Fable was one of the few games where I decided to keep the retail box. It was too much of a work of art to throw away (even though, I think it is mere cardboard anyway, even if it doesn't look like one). :)

EDIT: And I guess this is the "international version", as I bought it in Finland. I didn't know there are two different versions of it with different endings

I bought it back in the when it was release, pretty bad game - the plot advance no where and its full of bugs, including a crash in the end of the game when you speak with a character who finally reveal much of the plot (although it wasn't necessary to end the game) and my copy is the second release of the game (the one with the alternate end).

Incidentally the Windows version of the game still run smoothly on my Windows 7.

You could watch it (WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS) here, personally I prefer the original end.
And of course

Rosstifer1712: classed as abandonware by now
Is literally a phrase that means nothing. People WANT it to mean something, but, legally, there is no such thing.
