Thanks for pointing this out! I've always written "GoG" too for some reason (Good ol' Games?). Will make sure I capitalise it correctly in the future :)

I agree, it does look better with a lowercase 'o'.. and to be honest, I think the implications are better too.

Capitalised "Good" and "Games" emphasises that the site is about just that.. Good Games. The fact that they are "old" is less (or completely un-) important.

Well, I wouldn't say all of them are good, per se. >_> But there's definitely a variety, and it's an awesome site. :D

I can't sing for @#(@& but I offer this: Skype (or any other telecommunication, particularly one that goes through digital encoding and decoding) is laggy (try calling your cell phone from another one and noting the delay) - it might be better [and logistically MUCH easier] to record the tracks separately and mix them afterward.

You could also then make minor tempo corrections easily, everyone can patch mistakes (or send several takes for the mixer to patch).

Everyone should use a reference performance (eg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fhgt6g78GTw&feature=fvst ) to time themselves - use headphones and record just your part while playing it.


I do volunteer to mix, if this suggestion is liked - that said, I'm not a professional, so anyone with real training and equipment would be better!

So we have vocal, guitar, drum, violin, trumpet & piano and a mix of those as the cherry on the top.
