Just sharing this cool comparison made on the F1 2010 forums, it's always nice to know/remember how much gaming has evolved. Credits to VirtuaIceMan.

Very interesting. Thx for sharing.
I had some of those. F1 2000 was solid. I wasn't too happy when I saw F1 Championship 2000 on the shelf with no upgrade coupon to be found.

My favorite F1 game is actually on the PS2. Grand Prix Challenge was made by Melbourne House and it one of the most beautiful and accurate f1 games ever made. The game also ran at 60fps and never dipped while sporting superior graphics to boot.

Other favorites include Grand Prix 2 and my favorite game of alltime, Pole Position II.
+1 for making me remember Speed Haste.
Ahhh Pitstop 2... who needs Gran Turismo 5 anyway

Heh I'm thinking of getting a racing wheel for GT5, might see if I can get it working with a C64 emulator
1988: Grand Prix Circuit (Accolade)

Loved that game.
He missed Trackmania even though it's obviously not a sim.
I had Grand Prix Unlimited from Accolade (with the code wheel copy protection). I think that's what got me interested in racing in the first place.
Nigel Mansell's Grand Prix is not listed, but still, a good effort.
Perfect: I was just searching for something to read this afternoon :-P
wow this was great, nice memory refresh thanks
