Seen a let's play of Europa universalis 3.
Made me interested in it,so i when and downloaded the demo.
When to look up,to see how much it cost.
Found it on Amazon,http://www.amazon.com/Europa-Universalis-III-Complete-Pc/dp/B001EK7S82/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1315448882&sr=1-1

Now for my question. What drm does it use?
My goggle search skills have failed me.
I'm not a fucking rogue,i don't have the skill points for these things!
I got some, saying it has drm and does not say what kind of drm.
Other answers [from my goggle search.]saying its drm free.
Seeing how i trust you all more, than random answers from a goggle search.
Is it drm free?Or does it have drm?If so, what kind?
This question / problem has been solved by KavazovAngelimage
The game is DRM free no matter where you buy it from. It has an activation key, but that one is used to add the game to your Paradox forum account collection, or something like that.
Great game! Enjoyed it all summer long a few years back. :)
Paradox is a cool publisher. Do ANY of their games have DRM?

EDIT: 2010 Article re: DRM @ Paradox by Fred Wester (then CEO, is he still?):

Yes, the CD/DVD versions of some do...My Knights of Honor Disk has to be in to play it for instance..but they are a very enlightend publisher...One of my favorites actually...oh and the Mount and Blade games have online activation too....My favorite game of all time maybe=Warband...I say it too much...but it's so true. :)

Yeah, I'd guess that's Talesworld's doing, and since I like them, I'm ok with it. When they say they'll provide an unprotected executable should they ever go out of business, I'd like to believe them.

Or maybe a serial is a necessity in games with multiplayer to limit the amount of traffic to those who actually pay. That being said, I've not hit any "monthly activation limit". I have M&B:W, and have "tried it out" within just a few days on a couple different computers to see how pretty it could be with better hardware, despite what their FAQ says.

EDIT: Anyway EU3 is great if you like grand strategy. Victoria 2, HoI3, also not bad.

EDIT 2: Speaking of Paradox, have been eyeing Sword of the Stars Complete @ Gamersgate. Wondering if any GOGers enjoy it?

Yeah, you know, it was the original Mount and Blade that made me finally break down and put the internet on my gaming computer...it is the first game I ever got that requried Internet activation....Yeah, it was love to me the first time I saw the screenshots...I've been all dreamy eyes ever since...was so worth breaking down despite that Activation bull.

My favotire Paradox grand Strategy is actually Crusader Kings...But, I'm a big fan of the Medieval time period and fuedalism and inbreeding... ;p
I got Sword of the Stars years ago...I enjoyed it personally, though I haven't played it for years...Of course I'm a big space nut so you can't go by me...but I enjoyed it.

EDIT: Actually, now I remember I didn't put the internet on my gaming computer till Warband...Instead I did an offline code thing for the original, using another computer that had the net...Needed bloomin' Steam for Warband...but I now downloaded the Unsteam version from Talewords so I'm happy there. :)
