Bloodygoodgames: Alright, I'm off to start playing Spellforce. Just bought Spellforce and Spellforce 2 on GG's game sale today and dying to play them. Have never played them before, but heard very good things!!
Oh, amazing games, and unfairly forgotten. I recommended them in this thread just a couple of days ago. I'm sure you'll have a blast playing them. :-)

I've just finished the tutorial on the first game. Probably the best tutorial in a game I've ever seen. Have to finish up some work for a client then am hoping to get back into it tonight.

BTW, thanks for your correction on my Sam and Max post on my website. I got confused with episodes, seasons, games :) Fixed it now though, LOL.

Ah, I saw your correction, no need to thank me, I just wanted to be sure that people who read your post wouldn't think that each single episode was going to cost them 30$ (non-sale price).
Indeed a good deal. But I already own the games twice over, so It's useless for me. Anyone who wants to buy a whole lot of good game(s) for a few bucks, this is something you'd want to buy.
Does anyone know if the GamersGate version contains different localizations (EFIGS) like the DotEmu version? Or is it English only as on GOG?
This was cheaper than buying Gothic here even though I already have Gothic 2 on GOG. Too bad it lost the battle of the games or I'd have gotten it then.
Very good deal

English only, except for Gothic 3 (the base game), which comes at least in German too (I didn't try other languages).

There's some conflicting information about this on GamersGate, but I bought the Gothic games in December and tested all of them for language options. I even looked for "hidden" ways to activate another language (ini changes, file renaming, etc.), and I'm pretty confident that my info is correct.

That's too bad, I was hoping to be able to play the game in its original language. Thank you for the information.
Incredible deal. Finally got me to make an account with GamersGate now. Thanks for the find.

GamersGate does incredible sales every Monday and Friday. I've bought about 20 games from them in the last two weeks alone, and I don't think I've paid more than $2.39 to $4.99 for any of them. And the $4.99 have all been the original game plus all expansions.

They do a lot of 'Game: Complete Editions' deals too. I just bought Medieval 2 Complete (the original game plus the expansions) in a sale two weeks ago for only $2.39.

I haven't seen anyone else beat their sale prices although, if you're just going for regular price on older games, GOG seems to do better in most respects, IMO.

Worth having an account in both places and grabbing deals at both :)

BTW, the Spellforce sale at GG is also worth checking out. Currently a total of $30 on GOG, I picked up Spellforce Platinum and Spellforce 2 Gold for a total of $12.48 yesterday. Another pretty good deal, IMO, and the games are incredible!

Nah, I"m not :) I rave about GOG on my own website and at other places, so they get their fair share of promotion.

I like both services equally, and think they both have amazing deals. Just on different things at different times. It pays to keep an eye on both, IMO.
