No, my price point for this game is actually lower still. It's definitely worth the 7€, but I can play the game already, I'm just looking for a convenient digital backup. And I can wait. :)

As far as I know removes the highly recommended fanpatch the copy-protection. Did you folks tried to copy all files from your disc(s) to a folder and then install the game from there? Normally I have no problems doing that with my few games on cds in combination with some "backup-patches". You can backup then your files on your external hard-drives.
