Question for the installer, I'm assuming it's because it's Japanese with the "??????????????????" parts, but the two boxes before installing, under the directory, should I tick them or not?

Pardon me then.

Oh, it wasn't meant as critique, I was just directing you to the answer.

rampancy: Catullus sure knew how to write some great romance/love poetry. (His famous #85 to his mistress is still one of my favorites.) His out-and-out dissing of political rivals is pretty hilarious too.
I would say that the person usually associated with this poem (Claudia Pulchra ) is a very ... specific character. Amusingly enough , she makes an apparition in EA's Dante's Inferno...
I wish I had time to actually play it =/

I wish I hadn't been reminded of that game. :( I still think that getting that and the game for Beowulf would be a wicked joke to play on an English teacher or prof.

I must say , I didn't even try it, or even consider trying it. Not my kind of game at all.
So, I actually managed to play a bit of it, and I really like the complete deconstruction of almost all RPG tropes.

You might want to skip this if ou're not into girl on girl action, because there's a lot of it.
I finally got around to play this game, and want to thank Tantrix for bringing it to my attention.

As a side effect, this thread will receive a well-deserved bump. :)

"Embric of Wulfhammer's Castle" is an erotic RPG parody with excellent writing, and very well-designed characters. The conversations are among the best I've read in any computer game - it's rare that I burst out laughing while playing a game, but with this one, it happened regularly.

As others have already hinted at, you should probably stay away from this game (a) if you don't feel mature enough to occupy your mind with sexual description and erotic cartoon imagery, (b) if you think that girl-on-girl sex is bad/awkward/yucky/taboo/sin/whatever, and especially (c) if you think that the female nipple is the nexus of all evil in the world and must not, under any circumstances, be depicted in any way.

To anyone else: Play it. Now.
