nightrunner227: I don't think you need to be reinvited. I got a reinvitation just now for this weekend (with a beta key and all), and it said if I already had an account I could just start up the client in hop in without using the new beta key.
Thanks for the holler - not long after I posted my message here, I got email from them telling me to update the launcher if I want to play over the weekend. I'll give it another whirl!

Just a note for any of you who are updating the game for this weekend's beta... you may want to uninstall the game and reinstall instead of patching... I first tried patching the game, and I ended up with a game folder that was 49gb... Fortunately, I had the space and it wasn't an issue, but I went ahead and uninstalled and then downloaded the client for a fresh install, and it's now 29gb.

Not sure if this was a fluke or if it's just a problem with how the game patches, but if you're on limited hard drive space, I'd recommend a fresh install.

I just checked my folder, and after patching it's 29 GB - just FYI. Win7-64.

Ah, good to know. Not sure why mine ended up so huge, but I'm glad it's not a problem across the board. :)

Trajhenkhetlive: Does everything have to be an mmo? Couldn't we have just a co op Elder Scrolls game where you can invite who you want to play with?

JustSayin: Which is funny that this is an MMO. People just wanted to play with a friend or two and Bethesda said "now you can play with all the friends you want". As Adam Jensen would say: "I never asked for this."
It's clear as the sun that it's about money. To give people co-op and mods? No, they would pay once and never look back as they could put anything they liked into the game themselves. But to make it an MMO? They will need to pay every month and they will need to pay for every fancy outfit or mount or whatever they wish for separately.

By the way, I just received an email from Ubisoft, if you preorder from them the uber edition of the game, they will give you Assassin's Creed 4 for free.

I guess I am one of the only people super excited for this game. I am an Elder Scrolls junkie and have even read the novels (Lord of Souls and Infernal City). This game is at the top of my 2014 must play list. It doesnt have to be innovative. As long as it has solid game play and solid writing, I am all in.
