Well, apart from the ones already cited, you could try too:
Botanicula or the new Resonance (not finished yet, but i'm liking so far)... Botanicula is very on the easy side, but a beautiful experience anyway..
The Longest Journey is the best adventure game ever made, so get that.

GRIM FANDANGO.
GRIM FANDANGO.
GRIM FANDANGO.

In all seriousness, Grim Fandango has some pretty obnoxious puzzles but you should play it anyway. Use a walkthrough if you have to. Go. Now. Play it!

If you're still here, maybe also try out The Last Express (there's like 6 puzzles in the whole thing, most of it is focused on exploration and dialog) and The Shivah (very short, very good, not very tough).

What, in the world of written communication?

Look, I'm sorry, but that kind of "language" just really grates on my nerves, especially from someone asking for help. It sends a signal that says "I want you to spend time helping me, but I can't be bothered to explain properly".

That said, I'm not livid with rage or anything, I just had to get that off my chest.

That's fine (and I did chuckle at your first sentence), but having an attitude about it won't usually win people over. (It would be one thing if he had a bit of karma, but it's pretty obvious this person has almost never posted.) Even throwing in an exasperated "PLEASE" shows some element of kindness.
Since You liked Gemini, I'd recommend the Blackwell series or The Shivah (or anything else on WadjetEye for that matter). Difficulty wise the games are usually "accessible" but/and very enjoyable.
Yuo can try the Whispered World

Here's the Demo
I found Jolly Rover to be fun and relatively easy, and it has a well integrated hint system if you get stuck.

You know what, you're absolutely right.

muddy123, please accept my apology, and allow me to rephrase:

On this forum we usually try to conform to certain standards of language, if you will. Not everyone here is perfectly fluent in English, and that's perfectly okay and understandable in a multi-national community. However, people are expected to do their best to make themselves understood. It doesn't matter whether or not what you write is grammatically perfect. What matters is when it's obvious to everyone that you just aren't making an effort at all.

This is not to say that we're all stuck-up, pompous grammar nazis, but it's just so much easier to communicate when people don't write in an incomprehensible fashion, either deliberately or through laziness.

Apart from that, we're pretty relaxed about most things, although you may want to avoid entering discussions about DRM, Steam, EA, Ubisoft or Activision until you've been here a little longer, and have seen what dangerous battlegrounds those discussions can be.

Generally, this forum is a fantastic place, where an adult gamer can stand proud and say "fuck" if he so wishes (although please refrain from doing so in a thread title). Also, most of the other forumites are much nicer than me ;-)
