It's correct. Valve changed the Terms of Sale, EA did not agree with the revised terms so Valve refused to take any games that would not comply. Since it was definitively Valve who changed the terms it is also definitively them refusing to sell rather than EA, because...
... if EA wanted to pull their games from steam they would have pulled their games, all of them, from steam. That does happen sometimes both here and on steam or other DD vendors, titles do get pulled. But the old EA titles are still sold on steam, and under the old Terms of Sale ('grandfathering', as it is known).
Specifically, Valve wanted to compel sale of all dlc through steam as well as through any client. Look at a Ubi title with uPlay that is sold on steam and all dlc is purchaseable via steam as well as via uPlay. If Ubi refused to do that Valve would refuse to sell their titles as well (or buckle and change their ToS back).

I do not believe Steam collects private information. Otherwise, my firewall, anti-virus, anti-spyware and layers and layers of security software would go off whenever I use Steam.
I actually tried to install Origin once to redeem some games I bought on Humble Bundles. That was actually not too long ago. It set off warnings, and my background security software blocked Origin. I still have not redeem the games. However, I've heard EA had updated Origin and removed the privacy intrusions, but I have never bothered with Origin again. I'm still offended by the privacy hijack attempt, (it's a fucking game client - it should NOT be peeking into my computer for anything,) so I won't be giving Origin another chance.

Then Valve wanted those games on Steam under the new terms and EA decided not to play along. Saying that it was Valve who specifically refused EA's newer releases is perfectly wrong in such a case.

No, it's perfectly right.
Valve changed the terms. EA changed nothing, they were happy with the old ones but not with the new ones. That is, by definition, caused by Valve because they made the change. And it's pretty easy to prove too, at least so far as it can be proven without actual documents.
If EA had changed their attitude and wanted to not put games on Steam then there would simply be no EA games on Steam at all. If EA had changed their attitude and wanted their games sold on Origin exclusively then they would not still sell their new games on other DD sites. Neither has happened, indeed none of the other DD sites (Gamersgate, Amazon digital, gamefly etc etc; except GOG, and obviously that isn't due to a change in the ToS) seem to have a problem selling newer EA games, only Steam does.
The absolutely inescapable conclusion is that it is Steam refusing to sell the games, not EA, since they do sell some games on steam and sell the ones steam refuses to sell via other 3rd party download sites.

Right now I have a problem with Origin.
Well it all started 2 days ago I accidently shut down my computer forgetting that I was still logged in Origin. Now I when I try press the client shortcut the log in wheel is still loading, after awhile when it finally appears I sign in, but I am in offline mode, and I cannot go online and access the store.
How do I fix this?

unlike the video mine says, "Online login is currently unavaliable" not, "You must be online when logging in for the first time"
My Lan Settings was already unchecked.

Well, searching for "origin online is currently unavailable" results in dozens of other videos. Guess some of them will deal with the issue you're experiencing.
