We haven't seen the first and third Sim City either and still number 2 and 4 made it here. You never know. Maybe some EA exec in charge doesn't like uneven numbers.

I read this yesterday too. If the Sims 2 Ultimate was released on GOG I would buy it. I liked The Sims 2 better than the 3rd. I have the 3 on Origin because of the Origin Humble Bundle, but I only played it a little. That game feels sluggish and has insane loading times, even on a fast PC. And there are too many expensive add-ons, with little content in the base game. I don't think it was an improvement over the Sims 2
