JMich: You can always "Report this wish: Duplicate", and the conficting wishes will be merged.
As to how much the wishlist influences things around here, that's debatable
We do read 'em, and they're helpful for going to the publishers with.

hucklebarry: Have you seen a merge? I know I reported about a half dozen duplicates and a few weeks later they still existed. Its kind of my big gripe... we went to a nice new layout, new "functional" wishlist and it doesn't seem like its kept up. Lots of games in the wrong place, duplicates, some jokes are entries, etc.
There have been a few merges. Part of what's pending on that is the person who's supposed to be managing our community. Once he starts--in the middle of July--we'll start to see a little more care there.
