Okay, it's not officially DK3, but Dungeon, just made available for pre-order on steam, seems to be everything I miss about Dungeon Keeper:
You are the controller of a good old fashioned RPG dungeon, seen from an isometric view, where you send your goblins to do your bidding, destroying dirt to make way for hallways and new rooms.
The uncovered ground is then turned into one of several types of room (torture chamber, treasury) and will aid your minions in becoming stronger, spawn new types of minions, convert enemy units into your own minions, and many other DK-esque uses.
You can now also control your evil overlord directly, a unit that functions somewhere between a horny and the Evil Genius of the aptly named game; Evil Genius.
Now's just hoping that E.A. will sign up for GOG soon, so we can re-experience DK1&2. I see that DK has made it's way unto the top 10 most wanted games....
