What is Duke Nukem: Next-Gen?
Duke Nukem: Next-Gen - Is a new independently developed game - By the fans, for the fans!

Duke Nukem: Next-Gen (DNNG), is the codename (Not final title), for at new Re-vision of Duke Nukem 3D. Duke Nukem 3D, if the game was made today.
DNNG uses Unreal Engine 3 technology to achieve the graphics expected for a next-gen title.

The final game will include both a 3 Episode Singleplayer campaign, and a full fledged Multiplayer Component, and will be released free to everyone - NO other games required.

And it's gonna take them 10 years to have 3 playable levels?:P

So many fan remake projects take years to be finished, and usually are not. i'd say, when this finally gets released it's gonna look old. ;)

Which reminds me, how long are they making that Black Mesa thing?

I'll keep my fingers crossed anyway! Thanks for spreading the word! :)
Hey, that's way cool! I mean, it WOULD be cool...

Yeah, can't say I have high hopes for this. These fan project things just generally never get finished. Should be interesting to see how far they'll get with this, however, especially with DNF being released soon (assuming it's good of course, and assuming it actually will be released).
If they got enough talented people involved it could work. But after Black Mesa I really don't see what future these projects have.
Yeah, BlackMesa (which I am also looking forward to) is a HUGE undertaking, just like DNNG is.
Re-making any 1990's game is, just because of the sheer volume of maps and assets within the game itself.

But, hopefully, this one will not get sidetracked, and will be done quicker than BM.
First teaser is looking good but I don't think it will come out soon.
Awesome. Can't wait to check out the multiplayer beta and test it out. Currently enjoying the High-Res pack for Duke3d, so this will be a nice step up from that.
