This game looks awesome. I saw it on the IGF page, and apparently it was a finalist. It also looks like it's on sale, so jump on that.

I like dream themed games, but are 13 bucks worth the game? I got to save for this year.

You can play the first chapter for free and decide for yourself. I'm quite certain also there was already a thread about it but the search function is really not helpful :(

I've played through the first chapter just now. Save for perhaps some of the writing, it's definitely promising. If the length of the first part is any indication, The Dream Machine seems to offer a sufficient amount of game play for that price.

The free chapter leaves me wanting more. But I don't think I'm willing to drop that much on a game right now. My backlog reminds me of that ludicrously deep shaft I fell down in MInecraft for some reason.
