Elmofongo: Also I would say Witch Hunt is imporatant since it is sort of the true epilouge of the game,

AlKim: Your mileage probably varies, but I played through what little there is of Witch Hunt and found it a completely pointless cash cow.
You missed out on the ending which can have multiple outcomes and the Vateral boss Dragon Age:

Tallima: Also, the little promo items are all free DLC now:

madth3: As someone with little Origin experience and zero Bioware experience I'd like to ask how this items work. I did login in Bioware with my Origin account and redeemed those items. Will I be seing them inside the game or should I be seing something in my Origin catalog?

(Also, I'd rather not install DA at this moment)
You'll see them in the game. There's a DLC section in the game and it will connect to the Bioware servers and download anything you check as being activated.

Also, all of your games are automatically cloud-saved on the Bioware servers (I think -- mine were anyway).

I was wondering this too! Also, is there a way to see the d/l size of games without actually starting the download, which seems to be taking forever on the "preparing download" step for DA:O. I probably don't have enough space but it's not telling me anything.

I saw all endings and fought the boss and still consider Witch Hunt to be a waste of time.

Would it be possible if I start game in this version to use my saves in Ultimate Edition once I buy it? I tried it and really like it, so I will buy it next time it's on sale but if I wouldn't be able to use my saves I better stop right now to not lose it all.

Thank you very much for the information.
:-)

I read this from my phone and did not answer because Chrome for Android seems to have issues with the forum, and then I forgot, sorry.

I was going to ask how this works and found this!

But I have another question: with all DLC I'm practically converting the standard edition into ultimate one?

Ultimate Edition, if I'm not mistaken, came with all but 1 DLC (besides the pre-order DLCs that are now free).

You can buy all the DLC, or buy the Ultimate Edition and get a code to unlock all of the DLC. I'd recommend buying Ultimate Edition if you want all the DLC. The game plays fine w/o the DLC, but it is nice DLC.

You will be able to use your saves, the Ultimate Edition is the same game, but with the DLC's.
