I don't know what Yahoo has to do with any of this. Do you mean the GOG downloader is not starting the download? Is the download added to the downloader window? Does it say "Fetching download size" or "Paused" anything like that when it stops?

Says nothing-punch downloader button-get hourgass for about 2 seconds and then nothing.
Sorry, when I push download game button,Internet Explorer asks for permission to download and it is given. I get the hourglass foe about 2 seconds and nothing else happens.

I think you're actually trying to download the download link. That is the wrong way to go about it. If you want to use the GOG downloader, you need to open the link, not save it. If the downloader is installed correctly, it should be registered as the default application for that type of link. Oh, and I believe the downloader application has to be already running when you click "Add to downloader".

Of course, you don't have to use the downloader at all. You can just download the games directly through your browser.
Appreciate all help.I still don't know what was going on,but booted up this morning and went back to try again.Everything worked just fine, downloaded in about 4 mins.Go figure!
Maybe it's just me, but I kept thinking of Mordin Solus while reading allwheel's posts. =P

Put a smile on my face.
