I was under the impression that the game source/assets is generally separate from the engine itself and from the article it seemed that was the case here as well. Good to hear it'll be coming along as well.

I'd expect the same sort of release as in the past, where the lawyers go over it and they release the engine code only, requiring the rest of the assets to play the game.

But, then again, considering how overwhelmingly meh, the game was, the engine is the only thing that I'm interested in anyways. It still holds up well.
