As I have said previously in other threads
GoG really needs to get more people for support and more moderators here on the forums
GoG is growing pretty fast from what I see and from what I see as well - The current team is unable to handle everything atm

That implies that they already have moderators. Which they don't. So far, they haven't really been needed, the community seems to take care of itself, and the GOG staff deal with the occasional spammer, but at some point they might have to consider adding moderators.
They definitely need to add more support staff <dusts off resume>, its become increasingly obvious that however many of their 20 employees they have working in support is simply not enough.

My Evil Genius game gave me the BSoD on my last computer every time I started it. I contacted support asking why it was doing this and got no response. A month later I asked again, and a year later, no response. One person asked about this in the forum, and quite a few people replied requesting a solution as well, then a GoG staff member marked his post as the answer to the question and told the person to contact support. Everyone else wanted the solution... . A little strange no? Heres the thread. http://www.gog.com/en/forum/evil_genius/crash_on_startup

I sent a message about not being able to get accesses to one of the manuals; they had sorted it out within a few days. If they take much longer send another message.

The only time I needed help in the past it took less than 2 days to get a response. Its been quite a long time since then though

So, I'm the OP, thanks for the reponses. They temporarily alleviated my frustration.
Anyway, to wit: after a long time away from GOG, I find my original usename/email is invalid. No downloading my purchased games.
First email sent to support@gog.com on 10/19, follow up emails sent on 10/26 and 11/05. Still no response as of 12/05. We're going on 1.5+ months without a response to emails regarding a dead account.
WTF GOG? I've replied quoting a password reset confirmation email from 5/5/10, emails sent to support@gog.com. No gog emails showing up in the junk folder. Maybe I changed my username to something less stupid (it was ineedroms@live.com - which is the email address I've been sending inquiries from; please don't judge me. It's a dumb throwaway email account and I signed up for GOG when it was extremely beta). Even so, it'd be nice to get a response.
Maybe I'm a complete tool and GOG has responded, and I don't know how to properly check my spam folder. Does GOG suck, or am I a moron?
Incredibly frustrated.

This is disturbing as it could potentially happen to anyone. Come on, GOG, give this guy a break and help him out! No excuse for ignoring him this way. Really.

One of the ways GOG really screwed up with the relaunch was in totalling a number of accounts including yours it seems. It's completely up to them to get it sorted. You shouldn't even have had to contact them in the first place.
