Im currently in my 2nd playthrough of Avadon the Black Fortress. Its really just an awesome game and reminds me of baldurs gate if it was turnbased. I was wondering if anyone thinks good old games (best site ever) will put that on here or if they will just add Avernum 1-6. Im hoping for Avadon because its more my liking. Plus Avernum Escape from the Pit just came out too.

I especially like the fact that unlike previous games Avernum and Geneforge where melee is the best, ranged weapons rock the show in this series.

Im just hoping jeff gets my email about beta testing before its too late.
The Geneforge games are already here, I see no reason why Spiderweb Software would stop there.

Im really actually kind of siked either way. Avadon 2 is the next game to come out. Then followed by Avernum 2-Crystal Shards. Good times.
Good news about Avadon 2.
I only just touched Avadon and I'm loving it. It's a huge time sink, but it's fat with story and a non-cliched, politically volatile world. Its legal system of giving up freedom for security at the Black Fortress speaks volumes about our world today -- the dangers and the benefits. And it really sets up some nice roleplaying moments.

I can't imagine replaying it when I'm done. There's so many other Spiderweb games to play and too little time on this planet. :D
Pshaw. You kids and your modern and inferior Spiderweb games. I'm still running around the enormous world in Avernum 3. Glorious.

Plus, it doesn't run like absolute ass on my ancient coal-powered laptop, so that's a plus.

I'd love to see all of Jeff's games appear here. And since I'm part way through Avadon and really liking it, if Avadon 2 were to be released here, that would be... splendid.

But wouldn't Exile 3 be the better choice. The interface is a little worse but the graphics are a lot better. Well I haven't played any of them yet, but that would be my preference when I do.

The graphics and the interface actually put me off Exile. Definitely not as crisp and aesthetic as the first Avernum trilogy. Compare and contrast: Exile - Avernum.
Well as we say in Norway "Smaken er som Baken" Directly translated: "One's taste is like one's arse" :-P

It means that taste, like arses, are different from person to person.

While what I've seen from the Exile games aren't exactly John William Waterhouse, the simple icon based games at least forces you to use your imagination to see something better. The isometric graphics of the early Avernum games doesn't look so bad, but I have issues with the portraits and paperdolls. I guess it is perhaps just me not being able to ignore what should be ignored.

I think you picked the worst screenshot though, the others look better:
