JudasIscariot: Ahh well, bever lived in Orlando. Tallahassee and Clearwater mostly. The tap water seemed alright. Here in Warsaw it's very "hard" and you can taste something like chalk or something in it. Maybe it's flouride or something, I don'[t know although I wish I had a water testing kit to find out just what the hell is in this water.

I'll tell you this...my kettle for making water for tea gets some weird almost calcific(calcic? calcium related?) deposits after a while and I have to scrape that crap off...

I find that distilled white vinaigre will take hard water deposits off. I used it to clean coffee makers and anything else that is likely to build up water deposits.
